Plants on the Window

We intend to prove the abundance of the Earth.  We've started with less than a tenth of an acre of land but can sustain at least 10 families.  We currently have openings for families or individuals to join us.

Our dream is to have a 40 acre farm with stone fruit orchards; a herd sheep, alfalfa and cannabis fields; a pond with swans and fish; beehives; an enormous vegetable garden; berry patches, and a few of cats and dogs.

The Ashram Farm is currently located in Manor Park, DC.  We grow peaches, cherries, plums, plerrys (when a plum and a cherry have a hybrid-baby), and fig trees.  We typically grow greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, garlic, peppers, eggplant, potatoes, tomatillos, onions, melons, carrots, radish, and beets.  We grow a plethora of flowers and herbs.

Each family member and/or individual with a share is asked to provide 20 hours of farm labor biannually and $150 per year an individual or $300 per family.
